Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality comprehensive mental health services to individuals with complex mental health difficulties and their carers.
  • Manage a defined caseload, providing expert assessment and treatment, and coordinating recovery plans.
  • Exercise clinical judgment in assessing and managing risk, and demonstrate a commitment to recovery principles.
  • Work collaboratively with the local Primary Care Network and engage with community structures and social care management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A professional mental health qualification, such as RMN, Social Work Degree, or equivalent, with current registration and no restrictions.
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to the specialism, and training in Safeguarding children and young people.
  • Substantial experience in managing complex caseloads, providing clinical supervision, and delivering model-based psychological therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills, clinical assessment skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
