About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Designer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Digital Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling and technically sound digital assets for various channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital assets such as banners, social media graphics, email templates, and responsive web pages.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that are visually appealing and functional.
  • Identify design and technical challenges and develop creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Enhance the functionality and user experience of digital assets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
  • Experience with UI/UX design tools (e.g. Figma).
  • Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in responsive and cross-browser design.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Craft CMS).
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimisation, accessibility standards, and SEO principles as they relate to front-end development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 (negotiable depending on experience) plus benefits including 23 days' holiday + Bank Holidays (rising with service), personal development opportunities, company pension scheme, and life assurance.
