Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team in a state-of-the-art Hospice in Barnet, North London.
About the RoleAs a Paediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in The Ark, children's homes, or the community. You will plan and review care with parents, children, and young people to ensure safety, act as an advocate for the child and their family, and maintain professional documentation and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, effective patient care

- Administer medications according to policies and procedures
- Maintain nutritional status and clinical skills necessary for holistic care
The Paediatric Nurse package includes:
- Annual salary of £34,029 - £41,360, depending on experience
- £5,000 joining bonus over three years (£500 on appointment)
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days with service, plus the option to buy or sell up to 5 days

The ideal Paediatric Nurse will have:
- Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch) qualification
- Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Experience in palliative care or nursing children with life-limiting conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
