We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Inpatient Mental Health wards. As a key member of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to practice a full range of core mental health nursing skills and to also teach, supervise and support colleagues.
About the Role:
- Provide quality evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care on night shifts.
- Working knowledge of local and national policies and legislation which govern current service provision.
- Identify and contribute to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff.
- Ensure that issues of equality, diversity, and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation.
- Effective communication pathways exist, and act within their sphere of responsibility, managing the night shift in the absence of the Ward Manager or the designated deputy.
