Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, guest service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and guest experience.
  • Implement and maintain brand standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all kitchen operations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to achieve profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and health and hygiene standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage stock levels, inventory, and supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, guest feedback, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and hygiene standards, and experience in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
