Audit Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of audits from planning to completion, including field work.

As an Audit Senior, you will work closely with the Audit Manager to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met. You will also be responsible for preparing financial statements, supporting junior staff with learning and development, and building good rapport with clients.

The successful candidate will have ACA or ACCA qualification or be studying with previous audit experience within practice. You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and reliable, with a drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.

About the Role
  • Support the delivery of audits from planning to completion, including field work.
  • Work closely with the Audit Manager to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
  • Preparation of financial statements.
  • Support junior staff with learning and development.
  • Build good rapport with clients.
  • Assist with target setting and department budgeting.
  • Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, scoping training opportunities.
