Structural Engineer Opportunity

FM Conway is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Consultancy division. The successful candidate will be based in either our Sevenoaks Head Office or our Central London office, which is a short walk from Victoria station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of tender documents by preparing fee proposals and quality statements.
  • Contribute to winning work by providing timelines for tasks and activities.
  • Design permanent and temporary works in accordance with relevant design standards and codes of practice.
  • Support Local Authorities in their asset management strategies by undertaking inspections of highway structures and site surveys.
  • Manage health and safety during the design and construction phases, by identifying hazards and where possible, designing them out.
Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and driven Structural Engineer with knowledge in AutoCAD and swept path analysis. You will have experience of design and detailing of structures in reinforced concrete and steel. You will hold a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent and have experience in structural engineering.
