Night Depot Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Depot Operations Manager to join our team at Smiths News. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of night operations, including cost control, productivity, quality, and safety.
About the Role:- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective night operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Maintain a high level of health and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and company policy.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a track record of success in a warehouse environment. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and management. You will also have a strong understanding of business acumen and commercial awareness.
As a Night Depot Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a planned and effective night operation is in place, taking responsibility for supervising all staff, providing training and coaching, and identifying training needs. You will also be responsible for providing accurate reports that highlight any challenges or successes, working closely with the management team to identify potential risks, and maintaining a high level of health and safety at all times.
