Unlock the Secrets of the Travel Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Commercial Team at Orange Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by analyzing sales performance data, monitoring competitor activity, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor competitor performance and conduct competitive benchmark studies to identify key areas for improvement.
  • Measure pricing strategies, booking trends, and booking pace across various holiday market segments.
  • Analyze monthly tour performance and report findings to the Commercial team.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and support strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Commercial inbox and handle general day-to-day enquiries.
  • Assist with ad-hoc departmental reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical experience in the travel sector or a related field.
  • Excellent numerical and Excel skills.
  • Sound commercial awareness and a real can-do attitude.
  • Good UK geographical knowledge.
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus.
