Electrical Project Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Mech Electrics Limited. As a key member of our MEP recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing the electrical installation on a multi-million pound project in the Built Environment.

Project Overview:

The project involves the installation of electrical services on a new build residential scheme of 550 beds, spread across 5 towers, with the tallest being 28 floors. The project is fully modular, with a wet half and dry half to each apartment that require a stitch up. The MEP services include shell & core, power & light, drains and collection, cold water feed, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical installation on the project, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with the site-based Lead Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, and visiting Contracts Manager to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Coordinate with the main contractor, design consultant, and sub-contractors' network to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and project team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on multi-million pound MEP schemes in the Built Environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical services, including design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
