About the Role

Binnies, a RSK Company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Lead Electrical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction to electrical engineers and ensure designs meet current legislation and standards.
  • Review and check electrical design deliverables produced by other engineers to ensure quality and safety.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments and project teams to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Manage quality through the design workflow review and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Chartered status or working towards Chartered status.
  • Experience of water-sector assets and capital projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
