Job Description:

Warehouse Operative /Driver

AJK Wood Flooring is seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operative /Driver to assist our Warehouse Manager in day-to-day duties at our warehouses in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take instruction from our Warehouse Manager
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Deliver stock/materials between warehouses
  • Deliver materials to site(s) when required
  • Check for damaged or missing items for onward storage in the warehouse
  • Operate a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely
  • Operate a forklift to unload/load materials
  • Pick orders
  • Assist with stock control and inventory procedures to maximise availability and minimise waste
  • Ensure the safe and appropriate storage of materials in our warehouse
  • Provide timely and accurate delivery of outputs
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of housekeeping and cleanliness in and around the warehouse(s)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year working within a warehouse environment
  • Experience of using a forklift truck/Holds Forklift licence
  • Full Clean driving Licence
  • Have a valid licence applicable for use of driving commercial vans up to LWB van
  • Experience of driving LWB Vans

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
