Lift & Crane Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lift & Crane Surveyor to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of lifting equipment, in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections on lifting equipment, including MEWPS, HIABs, cranes, and FLTs, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed inspection reports using advanced reporting tools.
  • Advise clients on safety standards and regulatory changes, providing expert guidance to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards during all inspections, prioritizing the well-being of clients and staff.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients across various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, power, and more.
Key Requirements:
  • NVQ4, City & Guilds Level 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (relevant to Lift & Crane) is essential.
  • LEEA qualifications are preferred, with relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the field, with a clean UK driving license.
