Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at ODIN RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our industrial operations.

Salary: £44,400

Location: Leyland area

Shift Pattern: Continental 2 Days 2 Nights 4 Off

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance on high-speed industrial machinery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing Electrical Breakdowns.
  • Performing fault-finding on electrical systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborating within a skilled engineering team.
  • Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Engaging in PLC fault-finding, preferably with Siemens systems.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and installations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Time-served Electrical Engineer.
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC, ONC, HND, or NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience in an FMCG engineering environment is preferred.
  • Strong fault-finding skills, particularly in high voltage scenarios.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced industrial settings.
