Position Overview: We invite applications for the role of Senior Cardiologist specializing in Imaging at NHS Golden Jubilee. This position is integral to our comprehensive cardiac care services.

About the Facility: NHS Golden Jubilee serves as a pivotal regional center for advanced cardiac interventions, including complex electrophysiology and cardiac surgery. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including five catheterization laboratories and advanced imaging modalities such as echocardiography, CT, and MRI.

Role Responsibilities: The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong background in advanced echocardiography techniques, encompassing stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, and 3D/4D imaging. Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading echocardiography sessions focused on congenital and structural heart conditions.
  • Contributing to the advanced heart failure service, including mechanical circulatory support.
  • Acting as the clinical lead for the echocardiography department.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register or eligible for registration within six months of the interview. A demonstrable subspecialty interest in cardiology is essential.
