Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective strategies for promoting innovation in dental education and training.
- Work closely with colleagues in NHS England, Public Health England, Local Authorities, the GDC, and other professional bodies to ensure dentistry and oral health are embedded in strategic partnership working.
- Provide leadership and support to the development of postgraduate dental education and training programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address the needs of the dental and oral health workforce.
- Excellent knowledge of primary care dentistry and postgraduate dental education.
- Experience of leadership roles and the ability to be an advocate and positive role model.
- Ability to critically appraise and problem solve while maintaining objectivity.
- Politically astute with an ability to sensitively manage complexity and uncertainty.
