Graduate Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Manpower UK.
  • As a Graduate Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of designs and specifications for the engineering development of civil designs.
  • You will perform design calculations, such as foundation designs, using relevant tools and software.
  • You will ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain accurate records for project audits.
  • You will collaborate with technical and commercial project management on time schedules and project costs.
  • You will provide input to Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) design drawings.
  • You will support the selection and development of design options, preparing reports and documents as needed.
  • You will work closely with other engineering disciplines to manage project interfaces.
  • You will implement a "safe by design" approach on all projects.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering (Civil or related).
  • A willingness to develop within a technical design role and support team efforts.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and safety regulations, including CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
  • Flexibility to travel to different project locations when required.
