We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Atlantis Medical Ltd as a Locum Physiotherapist Band 7. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with stroke and neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their rehabilitation needs and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Mentorship and Education: Mentor and support junior staff and students to develop their skills and knowledge in stroke and neuro rehabilitation.
- Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: At least 2 years of NHS experience and significant experience working as a physiotherapist in a relevant clinical area.
- Skills and Knowledge: Advanced clinical skills and knowledge in stroke and neuro rehabilitation, as well as evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Additional Qualifications: Additional post-graduate qualifications in neurology or stroke.
- Leadership Experience: Experience in a Band 7 role or equivalent.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to Patient-Centered Care: Commitment to providing patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
