Job Overview

Mencap is on the lookout for committed and caring individuals to join our exceptional team in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will have the chance to profoundly impact the lives of those you assist. Your role will involve working with a varied group of individuals, each with distinct needs and capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include helping with everyday tasks and offering emotional support, making you an essential part of their journey.

This position requires participation in a sleep-in service, which is a critical aspect of the role.

· A positive and understanding approach towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Employment Options:

· Part-time roles available: 1 x 30 hours, 1 x 25 hours, 1 x 20 hours.

Shift Details:

Our services operate 24 hours a day, and we prepare schedules at least four weeks in advance to help you balance your personal and social commitments.

· Day Shifts: Between 07:00-22:00

· Sleep-In Shifts: 22:00-07:00

Enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45 is provided for sleep-in shifts.

*All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
