Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Well Intervention Instructor to join our team at Atlas Professionals. As a Lead Well Intervention Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver courses as required in line with company and accrediting body requirements
  • Support customers during course delivery as appropriate
  • Obtain positive customer feedback following course completion in line with KPIs set within personal development plan
  • Participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required
  • Provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate
  • Support department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings, and the continual improvement of existing courses
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment
  • Apply company and where appropriate Client's HSE Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure that all company quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures

Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a Level 3 teacher training and assessor's award
  • Has an Assessor Award
  • Has experience with Drilling System simulators (an advantage)
  • Can provide technical coaching/professional guidance and assist in the development of others
  • Can demonstrate a calm and systematic approach
  • Can convey information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining rationale
  • Can select and use the best method of communication to ensure understanding
  • Can advise and guide others
  • Can use a wide range and depth of technical or specialised knowledge, providing technical leadership and expert advice to others
  • Can work to develop team spirit and cooperation
  • Can provide meaningful feedback on a regular, ongoing basis
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Can cope with competing demands and prioritise tasks

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 teacher training and assessor's award
  • Assessor Award
