Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy tasks, encompassing both pre and post-contract responsibilities.
  • Assist in the preparation of MEP cost estimates and financial plans.
  • Contribute to the tendering process, evaluate MEP tender submissions, and provide recommendations to clients, including advice on MEP procurement strategies.
  • Participate in meetings, generate financial reports, and track the progress of MEP packages within various projects.
  • Support the project lead in ensuring that the MEP package adheres to budget constraints from design through to completion.
  • Conduct comprehensive post-contract duties, including assessing the impact of variations, completing MEP package valuations, and negotiating final accounts.
  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with clients, upholding the highest standards of professional integrity.
  • Mentor junior team members to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our cost management services.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or equivalent) or actively pursuing such qualifications.
  • Possession of a degree or HNC level qualification.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in delivering MEP components for clients.
  • Established knowledge and connections within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
  • Commercially savvy with strong negotiation capabilities.
