Production Technician

The Recruitment Co. is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Production Operative. This position involves working in various sections of the manufacturing facility, playing a crucial role in the production of high-quality composite doors.

• Machining: Operate CNC Beam Saws and Edgebanders, including loading and unloading materials.
• Glazing Assembly: Integrate glass components into the manufactured composite doors.
• Warehousing: Handle pallets of doors using pallet trucks, manage manual handling tasks, and organize stock efficiently.
• Paint Preparation: Prepare doors for painting processes, including masking and taping.
• Painting: Hang doors on the paint line and arrange them on drying racks.
• Final Processing: Clean doors before packaging and inspect for any defects or damages.
• Wrapping and Packing: Stretch wrap doors and prepare them for dispatch.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols for yourself and colleagues by following company policies, maintaining a clean workspace, and reporting any issues promptly.

Complete necessary training to perform a variety of tasks within the production environment.

Maintain high standards of work quality, address any quality concerns, and ensure that sub-standard work is not passed to subsequent processes.

Accurately report work activities using the production system.

• Meet daily production targets regarding output and quality.
• Participate in regular inspections of the work area.
• Receive feedback from line managers on performance.
• Document achievements on the Training Matrix.

The compensation for this role is £11.85 per hour, translating to an annual salary of £24,648.

This is a permanent position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
