About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our UK Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting operational and compliance-related audits for the UK and Canada Credit Card business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Annual Audit Plan across both the UK and Canada Card businesses, including limited travel opportunities.
  • Gain a full understanding of the Card business and develop a deep knowledge of its operations.
  • Develop and nurture strong and effective working relationships with key business partners and the wider Audit group.
  • Operate independently to ensure work is completed to schedule and meets our high-quality standards.
  • Assist in communicating issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management.
  • Proactively follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management delivers their commitments within the agreed timescales.
  • Proactively seek out learning opportunities to continue to grow and develop in the role.

Requirements

  • Experience in internal or external auditing, risk management, accounting, financial analysis, information systems, compliance, or another related field.
  • Relevant qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, IIA, or equivalent) is preferable.
  • Proven skills in assessing business risks and the ability to identify and design risk-based testing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport and trust with ease.
  • Logical and rational judgment and an inquiring mind.
  • Experience in designing and executing tests using data (although coding skills are not essential).
