In this full-time role, you will oversee the Housekeeping team within a facility dedicated to male patients experiencing personality disorders and/or mental health challenges.

Your responsibilities will include supervising the cleaning of all facility areas, such as wards, offices, patient rooms, and communal spaces. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will provide essential support, guidance, and oversight, while also managing recruitment and performance evaluations to ensure consistent service delivery.

In this position, you will collaborate with the Senior Management Team to uphold exceptional cleanliness standards. You will have the autonomy to implement effective systems, including cleaning schedules and staffing rosters, to meet the needs of the facility and your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain designated areas to the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Evaluate and adjust cleaning schedules to align with the needs of the facility.
  • Adapt flexibly to meet business demands and support ongoing regulatory compliance for safety and infection control.
  • Manage procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment within budgetary constraints.
  • Adhere to Infection Control protocols and complete relevant audits.
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with departmental guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
  • Implement a documented housekeeping program that is subject to audits.

Qualifications:

  • C.O.S.H.H Training
  • Familiarity with Cleaning Industry Standards
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
  • A passion for cleanliness and satisfaction in achieving high standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
