Company Overview:
Morson Talent is collaborating with a prestigious client in the Formula One sector, seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to enhance their Quality Assurance Team.

Position Overview:
This role is offered as an initial contract with the potential for extension, featuring a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 6am to 6pm.

Compensation:
PAYE rate of £26 per hour (plus £3.14 holiday pay) or
UMB rate of £33.79 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, your primary duties will include:

  • Utilizing your expertise in manufacturing technologies to inspect metallic and composite components.
  • Employing various metrology tools and techniques, including visual inspections, hand tools, and operating CMMs.
  • Ensuring timely inspection and processing of parts.
  • Communicating effectively with designers, manufacturers, and team members regarding inspection findings.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Providing support in composite quality control as needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A recognized apprenticeship or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Inspection within a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Experience with Polyworks is highly beneficial.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong time management skills and a structured approach to work.
  • A collaborative mindset, working effectively within a team to meet priorities set by management.
