Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Integrity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical integrity of pressure systems while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
This opportunity arises from the ongoing commitment to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule inspections for piping and storage systems.
- Manage and prioritize worklists for accredited engineers.
- Collaborate with Engineering Planners for shutdown planning and necessary remedial actions.
- Maintain and update the Asset Integrity Lifecycle spreadsheet, tracking corrosion rates.
- Align inspection frequencies with Written Schemes of Examination and update records in the CMMS (Oracle).
- Ensure timely investigations and actions related to Unusual Incident Reports (UIR).
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of Industry Code Standards and procedures, including API 510, 570, and 653, as well as Non-Destructive Testing methods and familiarity with CMMS systems.
Experience in chemical manufacturing or related sectors such as petrochemical, oil & gas, or multi-industry environments will be advantageous.
