We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at The College of Naturopathic Medicine Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our QA policies and procedures, ensuring all documents reflect current practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct an annual review of CNM QA Policies and Procedures to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information, including making cosmetic corrections, consistent formatting and minor updates.
- Create and maintain a document control system for all policies and procedures, and ensure compliance.
- Draft and update QA documents under the direction of the Managing Director or Principal, such as QA Policies and Procedures, Job Descriptions, Handbooks, Work Instructions, Meeting Agendas/Minutes.
- Support external course accreditation or course approval projects as instructed by the Managing Director, Principal, or Education Director.
- Prepare and circulate Overall Academic Board (OAB) Agenda and take minutes.
- Circulate Work in Progress (WIP) documents to relevant department heads for confirmation before final approval.
- Conduct desk research for new projects as requested by the Managing Director or Principal.
- Act as the main source of support, advice and expertise for safeguarding.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to draft and update various documents accurately.
- Proficient in conducting desk research and compiling comprehensive reports.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with department heads and management.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
- Familiarity with academic processes and external course accreditation is a plus.
