Senior Electrical Engineer | Protection & Control | ICDS (UK) Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at ICDS (UK) Ltd, a leading engineering and construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of T&D (Transmission & Distribution) projects from initial tendering, through contract award, detailed design, site installation, commissioning, energisation, and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement electrical engineering designs and solutions for industrial projects
  2. Lead and manage electrical engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other infrastructure
  4. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  1. 3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering
  2. Minimum of 8 years engineering design/project management experience on industrial installation projects
  3. Detailed understanding of HV and LV network requirements in industrial settings, with particular emphasis on resilience and studies requirements
  4. Experience with energy management systems and integration of automated control systems to electrical networks
