Job Title: ENT Surgeon

Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced ENT Surgeon to join our team. As a senior trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain competency in all aspects of Head and Neck surgery, including complex ablative head and neck, thyroid, parathyroid, and robotic surgery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promotion of and participation in teaching within the department
  • Flexible cover of the clinical commitments of the department
  • Active involvement in research and continue to maintain as well as update own professional knowledge
Requirements:
  • MRCS or Equivalent
  • FRCS (ORL-HNS)
  • Full registration with GMC

Person Specification:
  • Essential criteria:
    • Applicants must be senior trainees (either Post CCT or in the final year of training)
    • Ability to deal with general Head and Neck and ENT emergencies
    • Evidence of participation in research and continued professional development
    • Logbook indicating validated experience of appropriate range and number of clinical procedures
  • Desirable criteria:
    • Research in Head and Neck
    • Attendance at relevant ENT training courses
    • Experience of developing effective and collaborative working relationships
