About the Role

Cathcart Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Analytics to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our data strategy, ensuring that our data architecture is scalable, secure, and aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures the scalability and security of our data architecture.
  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts and scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of our data strategy.
  • Collaborate with our software architect to ensure that our data architecture is aligned with our software development roadmap.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data architecture that enables effective data storage, processing, and retrieval across all platforms.
  • Advocate for the use of advanced data techniques, such as machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics, to solve complex business problems and unlock new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including our CTO and software architect, to ensure that our data strategy is aligned with our business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of data analysts and scientists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in data architecture, data engineering, and data analytics.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and SaaS platforms.
