Job Description

Job Title: Senior Payroll Officer

Contract Type: Temporary Assignment

Duration: 4-month contract

Location: Hybrid (Stafford or Shrewsbury)

About the Role:

  • Responsible for the effective production of the group's payroll, including the support of the Payroll Officers.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the payroll function.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the Payroll Officers on payroll-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage payroll data and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Identify and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
