SPAR Food Retail Manager

As a pivotal member of our team, the SPAR Food Retail Manager plays an essential role in enhancing our food-to-go offerings within our convenience stores.

In this position, you will lead your team to achieve and sustain high performance through effective recruitment, comprehensive training, and fostering engagement. You will be the primary driver for sales and profitability in your food retail section, and we will equip you with all the necessary training to excel in your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve not only guiding your team in completing their tasks but also actively participating in food preparation, serving customers, and ensuring that the store is clean, well-stocked, and inviting. You will monitor crucial aspects such as wage management, waste reduction, training initiatives, and customer service excellence.

Additionally, you will keep your team motivated and engaged to deliver the prompt and friendly service that SPAR is renowned for.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a proven history as a successful Supervisor or Line Manager, with extensive experience in delivering outstanding customer service. Experience in a food retail environment or similar is essential.

You will have demonstrated success in team development and will champion an inclusive culture, recognizing and valuing diversity as a strength.
