Are you committed to enhancing the lives of children and adolescents? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Residential Care Practitioner to join our team in Abergavenny. This role presents a unique opportunity to advance your career in a nurturing and fulfilling setting.
Primary Duties:
- Deliver exceptional care and assistance to children and adolescents in a residential facility.
- Supervise and guide a team of care staff, ensuring that all support is provided to the highest standards.
- Design and execute individualized care strategies, tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.
- Foster a secure, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere for all residents.
- Collaborate closely with management and other professionals to promote the welfare and growth of the children in your care.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYP) or an equivalent credential.
- At least 1 year of experience in a children's residential setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- A sincere dedication to working with children and young people.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including sleep-in shifts.
