Job Title: Lead Technical Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of analysts in delivering high-quality data analytics solutions that meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in data analysis, modeling, and visualization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data analytics leadership, including multiple mixed data sets
  • Strong business understanding, including the role of analytics in driving leader decisions and key levers impacting leader decisions
  • Excellent understanding of analytics methodologies, modeling, and data query languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
  • Knowledge of the analytics market and ability to scan the industry for new and innovative analytic tools and techniques
  • Good influencing skills of peers and senior leaders, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex and detailed recommendations clearly and succinctly
  • Excellent ability to deal with data complexity and proven track record of working with technology data teams to drive a clear route to data integrity foundation
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, manage timescales, and delivery across the team often under pressure
