Job Summary:
We are working alongside a leading Charity to recruit a Financial Operations Assistant to join their busy team on a part-time basis. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of financial transactions and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Processing: Post cash and banking transactions onto the company accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconciliations: Conduct daily bank statement reconciliations and input banking sheets, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Accounting Support: Assist with inputting purchase ledger documents, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner, and reconcile purchase ledger accounts to ensure they match supplier statements.
- Invoice Processing: Assist with preparing sales invoices on internal systems to ensure income is accurately recorded.
- Petty Cash Management: Process petty cash transactions, maintaining a secure and organized system.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks as required to support the finance team.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: AAT PQ or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
- Experience: Entry-level finance experience, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and processes.
