About the Role

The Proctors' Office is seeking an experienced caseworker to join our team as a Casework Specialist. As a key member of our secretariat, you will be responsible for the efficient and fair handling of individual student academic casework, primarily student complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of casework, undertaking investigations under the University's Student Complaints Procedure and other relevant procedures, statutes, and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Proctors, Head, and Deputy Head of the Proctors' Office to ensure the efficient and fair handling of individual student cases.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of University legislation, policy, and practice in governance and service delivery.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and sound counsel to the Proctors and Assessor in their role.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a regulatory background or experience in handling casework involving report writing and the application of procedures, rules, and/or regulations. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
