About the Role

Elite Touch Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and organized Property Paralegal to join their busy and friendly team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to fee earners and contributing to the firm's excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an administrative workload under the guidance of fee earners, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to fee earners, including file-opening, document production, filing/archiving, and dealing with post.
  • Draft documents and bills under supervision, using appropriate precedents and templates to accurately reflect fee earner instructions.
  • Undertake basic legal processes under supervision, such as assisting in processing cases through portals, obtaining relevant documentation, and arranging case meetings.
  • Correspond with clients as required, providing excellent client service at all times.
  • Learn the firm's policies and business processes, ensuring compliance with confidentiality, security, data protection, and file retention and destruction requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all affiliations and standards connected to the department, including the Land Registry.
  • Check to ensure all work complies with risk management policies and procedures, particularly concerning file opening processes and anti-money laundering.
  • General administrative and legal support, including keeping clients and their representatives updated on the progress of their matters.
  • Dealing with any queries or enquiries raised by clients, other solicitors, and third parties.
  • Obtaining and reviewing documents from clients and vendors for accuracy.
  • Preparing closing statements for clients and other tasks as required.
  • Keeping accurate records of all client communications and transactions.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate with an eye for detail and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Excellent telephone and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work to very tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative qualities.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
  • Commercial property knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
