About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Retail Team Leader. As a key member of our shop team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the management team in leading the shop to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all customers, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Assist customers in finding products, providing excellent service at the tills, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the shop, including handling stock, working deliveries, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Support the management team in leading the team, opening and closing the shop, handling cash, and placing orders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Commitment to completing all work set by our apprenticeship provider, including coursework and assessments.
