Role Overview
This position is perfect for individuals aiming to enhance their skills in reception and administrative functions. A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn are crucial, along with a compassionate and understanding demeanor towards individuals facing challenges related to substance use.
As a Volunteer Receptionist/Administrator, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for individuals accessing our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing reception duties, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Performing administrative tasks such as organizing files, maintaining archives, and photocopying documents.
- Assisting in the collection and entry of service-related data.
- Utilizing local and national databases effectively.
Additionally, participation in team meetings and undertaking other responsibilities as needed to support service requirements is expected.
A solid understanding of standard IT applications (such as Microsoft Office and Outlook) and attention to detail are essential for this role.
