The project aims to develop a near-isothermal co-generation compressed air energy storage (CAES) system, and we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to this exciting initiative.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thermodynamic and experimental studies to design and build the near-isothermal co-generation CAES system using liquid piston compressor/expander technology.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic research team comprising academics, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students focusing on various aspects of compressed air energy storage technologies.
  • Engage closely with 18 industrial partners, including EDF-Energy, Arup, and Siemens-Energy, to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
