Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry

Mentus Recruitment is proud to be working with an independent hospital in the Leeds area to offer a permanent contract for a Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry.

We are partnering with our esteemed client, a leading specialist in adult inpatient services, to fill this exciting role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team and provide leadership and guidance as the Responsible Clinician for patients on the low secure ward.
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients and families, working alongside a specialty doctor and team of physical health specialists.
  • Attend Mental Health Act meetings and complete MHA reports.
  • Work alongside a junior doctor and MDT who support the ward.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Adult or Forensic Psychiatry, with a background in working in a secure environment.
  • Must hold Section 12 and AC status.
  • Permanent contract with various payment methods available.
  • Participation in a 1 in 3 on-call rota, paid on top of salary.
Benefits:
  • Salary of £180,000 plus £20,000 on-call supplement per annum.
  • PAYE or PSC Pay.
