**Location:** Workshop based

We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic Specialist to join our team at CONSULT2RECRUIT LTD. As a Plant Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication work as required.
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Run fault-finding diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct yearly LOLER inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Record all work carried out each day, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaise with the workshop manager daily to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements:

  • Preferred City and Guilds / NVQ in Mechanics or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working on plant machinery.
  • Technical understanding of engines, transmissions, axles, hydraulic pumps, electrics, and other related systems.
