About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Developer to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our digital preservation service, DMPonline.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in the Ruby-on-Rails framework. You will be responsible for maintenance and bug fixes, feature development for specific customers and projects, and longer-term strategic planning.

You will work closely with our team, which includes developers, infrastructure experts, business developers, user liaison, and service management roles. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that engages with and draws on other elements of the DCC's work, including research and coordination projects, events, consultancy, and training.
