We are seeking a skilled Sustaining Hardware Engineer to join our team at Concurrent Technologies Plc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our latest hardware technologies in the manufacturing and test process.
As an Intel Titanium partner, you will have access to information on pre-announced silicon and will play a crucial role in helping us stay at the leading edge of technology. You will work collaboratively with other functions and provide candid feedback to help us evolve our hardware and people development processes and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Component obsolescence management and re-design of legacy products to extend product lifecycle.
- Creation of schematic and PCB design to ensure all original requirements are achieved.
- Technical issue reporting and progress tracking.
- Preparation and submission of technical work for review on obsolescence management.
- Analysis and development of necessary activities to ensure product reliability and performance.
- MEng/MSc/BEng in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or similar/equivalent discipline.
- Electronic engineering experience with high speed digital circuit design.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience working with PC motherboard architecture, e.g. microprocessors (64bit), PCI Express, Ethernet, DDR4 Memory.
- Programmable logic devices or FPGA experience.
- Embedded Software appreciation.
- Experience with Intel or ARM chipsets.
