About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our Capital, Estates and Facilities Management (CEFM) team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe management of our capital estates and facilities, and will work closely with our Head of Estates Safety, Compliance & Resilience to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide expert advice on health and safety issues to staff and managers.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for staff and managers.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a positive safety culture and a deep understanding of health and safety risks.
