Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Reporting Associate to join our team at Aviva. As an Actuarial Reporting Associate, you will play a key role in producing financial results and supporting analysis, data, and models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial results and support analysis, data, and models
  • Deliver tasks assigned by engagement managers and senior colleagues
  • Work within required timescales to ensure demands are met, with an awareness of impacts/dependencies on other areas of the business
  • Support any change activity designed to accelerate team processes or respond to regulatory change, e.g., automation, IFRS17
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues across the department to deliver assigned tasks and enable a flexible resourcing model

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified Actuary, although we could consider graduates and nearly qualified actuaries
  • Financial or regulatory reporting experience (both IFRS and Solvency II) preferred but not essential
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written – ability to communicate complex issues simply
  • Ability to work independently and on their own initiative and know when to escalate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Salary between £35,000 – £50,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
