POSITION OVERVIEW:


As the demand for innovative transport solutions evolves, Flowbird UK is at the forefront of this transformation. We are seeking a Technical Systems Architect who will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of our next-generation cloud-based systems and products aimed at global markets.


This position will be based in Poole and may require occasional travel to other locations where team members are situated. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive design, development, and deployment of strategic systems and services on a global scale.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and deliver architectural solutions that meet project and product requirements.
  • Define the overarching structure of software systems, including key components and interfaces.
  • Create, maintain, and refine documentation to support development efforts.
  • Lead the creation and review of system design documentation and testing protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to development and testing teams in an agile environment, ensuring alignment with corporate architecture and design standards.
  • Offer technical leadership for core products, ensuring adherence to technical standards and documentation practices.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle and post-release.
  • Support technical sales initiatives by leading solution reviews and ensuring coherence and cost-effectiveness.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in an architectural role with a strong understanding of design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman is advantageous.
  • Experience with embedded systems and software development.
  • Background in developing SaaS multi-tenant systems with microservices architecture and APIs is preferred.
