Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at LONG-TERM TEACHERS LIMITED. The successful candidate will work with students who have had difficulty thriving in mainstream secondary and special schools or are returning from out of County placements.

• Work with students who require high levels of support, including one-to-one support and bespoke timetables.
• Design and deliver personalised learning experiences to engage students and promote rapid academic progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to students to help them build resilience and confidence.

• Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to take one.
• Be confident working with small groups and one-to-one.
• Have a passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings.
• Relevant experience working with children or people with special educational needs.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
