GLL is seeking a Leisure Centre Operations Supervisor to oversee the management of our facilities. The primary duties of this role include staff management and development, contributing to financial oversight, establishing and meeting performance objectives, creating and executing quality assurance systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with team members and key stakeholders. As a crucial member of our team, you will help facilitate the seamless operation of our leisure centre, prioritizing the health, safety, and satisfaction of both customers and staff.

Each day in this role presents unique challenges, making it an engaging and dynamic position. Responsibilities may range from generating reports and conducting facility inspections to advising on operational matters and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, all while actively working to enhance sales performance and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Directing, managing, and coordinating all operational aspects of the service area, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established policies and procedures.

- Taking responsibility for the performance of the service area, including the preparation and monitoring of budgets, revenue targets, and business strategies.

- Ensuring compliance with all organizational, statutory, and non-statutory health and safety regulations.

- Providing visible leadership to all staff within the service area, fostering motivation and high performance.

- Supervising the service team effectively and ensuring adherence to all personnel management protocols.

- Keeping all team members informed about developments, policies, practices, and procedures through regular communication.

- Mentoring and supporting the professional growth of service area staff.

- Upholding the highest standards of customer service and care within the service area.

- Continuously assessing and reviewing service standards, taking corrective action as necessary based on audits or other evaluations.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships within the organization and with key stakeholders.

- Acting as Centre or Duty Manager as needed, overseeing operational shifts and fulfilling additional responsibilities as required.
