Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate individual risk assessments, support plans, and care plans, ensuring all actions are implemented.
  • Assist young individuals in managing behavioral, emotional, or other challenges in accordance with established policies and standards.
  • Possess knowledge of safeguarding practices relevant to children and young people.
  • Engage in the professional environment of the facility and collaborate effectively with the residential staff team.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participate in training sessions, attend team meetings, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks applicable to the facility and understand relevant oversight standards.
  • Support young individuals in developing skills and confidence for independent living.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering life skills or participation programs to young people in youth work, social care, or health environments.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience working with children and young people.
  • Possession of a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification), with a commitment to complete any outstanding qualifications.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate and organized documentation for managerial review.
